- Two major legislative dossiers will guide the Belgian Presidency during the second half of 2010.
- 1. European Spectrum Policy
- Based on the public consultation of the European Commission on radio spectrum policy
- European Commission Regulation is expected in September
- Decision will be taken by co-decision procedure, but the dossier is unlikely to be concluded under the Belgian presidency
- 2. European Internet Security (ENISA)
- The mandate of ENISA will expire on 13 March 2012
- The objective is to revamp ENISA and ensure that it remains an effective body to strengthen European network security and increase consumer confidence
- Decision will be taken by co-decision procedure
